Many of our member associations offer a special forum to these young patients with their different and special needs, wishes and thoughts. This can be a young kidney patient group in the existing kidney patient association or an association of parents of kidney children taking care of the special interests and offering adequate activities. The European Kidney Patients’ Federation (CEAPIR) encourages the activities of young kidney patients.

For the 5^th time in arrow, we organized a conference for young kidney patients in May 2009 in Tallinn, Estonia, along with the General Assembly. In the meeting a four-person youth team was nominated to make a plan for young kidney patients.

The next conference for young kidney patients will take place in spring 2010 along with the General Asembly of Ceapir.
