European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation
The European Day is a yearly event of the Council of Europe. The aim is to raise awareness in the public for organ donation and transplantation. In 2007, the European day was held 13th October in Dublin, Ireland. The host was the Irish Kidney Association, a CEAPIR member. CEAPIR has been involved in this event for a long time now and thus has many times given this event the patients' perspective.
10th European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 18 October 2008. The Ceapir workshop will be arranged in Ljubljana on the 17th of October 2008.
