Founded in 1981, the European Kidney Patients’ Federation (CEAPIR) exists to serve and help all Chronic Kidney Disease patients and their carers.
Our core mission is to improve access to treatment, quality of treatment and quality of life of all kidney patients and their carers.

• Bringing Chronic Kidney Disease issues (including treatment of End Stage Kidney Disease –ESKD-) on the European Union (EU) public agenda
• Support of our member associations

CEAPIR is a European umbrella non-profit organisation for currently 22 national kidney patient associations in Europe. It is directed by kidney patients for kidney patients.
CEAPIR is legally registered in Vienna / Austria at the Austrian Federal Police. The working office is based in Dublin / Ireland.

The five members of the Executive Committee are elected for a period of three years in the General Assembly. The next electon year is 2010. On the left-hand side of this page you can find the link to the Executive committee.
