Welcome to the website of the European Kidney Patients’ Federation (CEAPIR).

CEAPIR is a European non-for-profit organization founded by kidney patients for kidney patients legally based in Vienna, Austria, with working office in Dublin, Ireland.

CEAPIR is the voice of the European kidney patients.

CEAPIR is the European umbrella organisation for currently 24 national kidney patients’ organisations in Europe.

The foundation of our activities is the health and the well being of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients and their carers in all stages of the disease. This includes patients in the phase of early detection, those in dialysis treatment (haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis) and after kidney transplantation.
